  1. Salutations, when I use a weapon with Beam X will cover for the X shots after the initial one be determined from the unit that is shooting or from the enemy unit the beam hits and goes on from there? I have a Saber Tank that is elevated on a building and can look over a wall. Behind that wall are three enemy units all getting cover 2 from the Sabers point of view but all units are visible. But they are not in cover from each other. So for the first shot obviously the enemy unit will get cover from the wall, but then when the beam moves to the next enemy unit, does it get cover or not? So does the beam hop from unit to unit therefore originating from the first hit unit or does the beam originates from the tank for all attacks and it is turning its turret to shoot at another unit granting it cover? But if that would be the case it wouldn't be plausible that you can shoot at units that are farther away than the max range of the beam weapon as the rules for it state. Am I overthinking this? We played it, that cover will be applied for every subsequent attack pool, but I'd like you to clarify if that is right. Thank you very much. Best wishes, Christian
  2. Salutations! If Captain Rex gets Recon Intel his Scout value rises from 1 to 2. So he can make a speed-2-move. Then Scouting Party triggers and my question is if units in range can then also make a speed-2-move since Rex's Scout value is 2 because of the recon intel? Or does only his generic value of 1 count for Scouting Party? Thank you very much for your time and effort. I really love your work for this forum. It is so helpful. Best wishes from Germany, Christian.
  3. Moin, I'd like to clarify if it is possible to use Jump when making a withdraw. The idea is to jump onto a building or over a wall while withdrawing. The emphasize in the following text is mine. Withdraw states that you must use all actions in your activation to make a single "speed-1 move action". No other actions are allowed thus including any free and card actions. But Jump X states that it can be used anytime when a unit can perform a move action. It doesn't say it has to be a standard move action. Since Withdraw is declared a move action Jump should work since it can be used for a move action. Is this correct? Best wishes and greetings from Germany, Christian.
