  1. Hydra engineering states that if the allied roll contained one or more skull/failure results the allied character gains the bleed special condition. Malekiths cloak of shadows allows him to pay power to treat skulls as criticals. If malekith rolled 1 skull, paid to treat it as a critical and used hydra engineering to reroll dice but did not roll any additional criticals, does malekith still gain the bleed if he is treating the skull/s as criticals?
  2. I would like clarity on the timing of when characters gain power for damage dealt and received as it's relevant to this thread. The rule book says on page 21 under "character damage" that "Whenever a character suffers damage (*) as a result of an enemy effect, that character gains Power (*) equal to the amount of damage suffered" This implies the power gained from damage occurs in step 12 whereas the answer above says power is gained in step 14, which would mean that a character dazed by an attack wouldn't gain power for damage dealt as it is during step 14 (after the attack is resolved). Can you please clarify when characters gain power for dealing and receiving damage? Is it the same for both attacker and defender? I have played it and understood it as that when damage is applied (step 12) each damage is an individual instance and 1 power is gained per damage which occurs during that step for both players/characters. The rules have never specified power is gained after the attack is resolved, nor is that a precursor on rules of attacks.
  3. To further expand on this, with escort to safety. If Steve Rogers plays the card to save Sam Wilson from an attack, can Steve push Sam through himself if the movement would finish legally or does Sam collide with Steve? Based on the above Steve is playing Escort to safety so core rules where you ignore yourself for push throws should be the same, right?
  4. So for complete clarity: - A Black Order Player plays psychic shockwave whilst facing an opponent who is playing Asgard and has Heimdall. - The Asgard Player has Angela holding an objective, Angela & Heimdall are allied to one another, could the Asgard player use Heimdalls all seeing eyes ability to reroll dice 'defensively' to attempt to remove crits and wilds from the 5 dice to prevent Angela taking damage? I understand that if Heimdall was in the Black Order squad in this instance his all seeing eye ability would not be able to be used on the psychic shockwave roll. Is that right? Thank you 😊
  5. Thanos attacks Vision with the cosmic blast and vision is in his enhanced density form which means he cannot be pushed. Thanos rolls a wild to trigger the titans will special rule. The second sentence in that is "the pushed character receives the slow special condition". If vision cannot be pushed, does he still receive the slow or is being pushed a pre-condition for gaining the slow?
