Magna guard question: they can only guardian separatist commanders, if I run a T series out get it killed, then nominate Asajj as my commander, can the magna guard guard Asajj?

Question: Command cards, Chewbacca has a card that is him and Luke that let's them go back to back; the question is must you have operative Chewbacca to have his command cards or is having Chewbacca ATST good enough?

Offensive/Defensive stance states that in Defensive stance, the user may not spend Aim tokens, how does this rule correlate to observe tokens being spent by a force user in defensive stance? Thank you!
