When making an attack or defence roll, do you have to convert all Surge results where there is a Surge option on the cards, or can you choose to only convert some of the Surge results? eg An attack roll from Stormtroopers results in 1 hit, 3 surges, 2 blanks. Stormtroopers have “Surge: hit” Can I choose to only convert 2 of the surge results for a final total of 3 hits, 1 surge, 2 blanks?

During a units attack an eligible unit with the Fire Support keyword can add 1 eligible weapon to the attack pool during the Form Attack Pool step (CRB pg45). Units with the Arsenal X keyword can form up to X attack pools and can choose up to X weapons to contribute to each attack pool during the Choose Weapons and Gather Dice steps (CRB pg42). However, if the Arsenal X keyword is on the unit that is Fire Supporting and NOT on the weapon profile, does this mean that Arsenal X cannot be applied by the Fire Supporting unit? If Yes, why? If the Arsenal X keyword can be applied from the unit using Fire Support, does this mean other unit keywords can also be applied such as Marksman or Sharpshooter? If not, why not? For Example: Moff Gideon uses his 3 pip command card to give a face up order token to an AT-ST with all 4 available weapons after upgrades and General Weiss pilot which therefore has Arsenal 4. A friendly stormtrooper unit performs an attack and the AT-ST declares Fire Support. It has 3 weapons that are eligible for the attack. Can it use the unit & upgrade Arsenal X keywords to add all 3 weapons into the stormtrooper attack pool or can it only add 1 of the 3 eligible weapons as the Arsenal X keywords are on the unit and upgrade cards, not the weapon profile? This feels like a very important point to be raised so a full and clear answer to all points would be appreciated.

If a unit with the Shielded key word has an active shield token and becomes the target of a Force Choke, does the damage from the Force Choke circumvent the active Shield token and deal the damage directly to the unit?

Can Boba Fett use his Arsenal 2 in conjunction with his command card FX Flame Projector to attack an enemy unit with the command card weapon and his Gear weapon Boba’s Flame Projector as both are named differently and have different weapon profiles?
