Eye in the Sky VS Beams
Negoldar replied to Tommy_DOOM's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
The attack against that character stops. The rest of the attacks continue. Beam attacks consist of a series of attacks made in sequence against all enemies caught in its range. One character stopping the attack through the use of Eye in the Sky will not end the attacks against others. -
Yes. No. Invisible in Shadow does not require a terrain feature to be interactive.

No. The Power spent as part of the effect of holding a Celestial Hammer is not paid to play a Team Tactic Card. It is spent before a card can be played.

Nightmare Visions + Advance Clarification
Negoldar replied to Sofron's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
It only takes into account movement that is defined as an Advance. Climb is a special type of Advance so it can trigger Nightmare Visions. Place, Throw, and Push are not types of Advance. -

Negoldar replied to FlyingRhino's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
Yes to both. -
Yes. It requires an attack action to be declared during the character's activation. Yes. You cannot select an attack with a cost greater than 0 for this as it will not meet this requirement when selected. Yes.

Hunker Tokens for 501st
Negoldar replied to jediplaya's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
Dashing does not give Hunker tokens on its own. In the case of the 501st's Defensive Maneuver, if any character in the Unit makes the granted Dash, the Unit gains one Hunker token. Individual characters in the Unit do not gain Hunker tokens.- 1 reply

Mystique leadership & Versatile Strategy
Negoldar replied to Lucas Pookus's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
The token is an effect of the Freedom Force Leadership so it will be removed when Versatile Strategy is played. You're welcome. -
Mystique leadership & Versatile Strategy
Negoldar replied to Lucas Pookus's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
Rules for the token remain with the token. That’s why the token does not leave when she is KO’d. Versatile Strategy, however, says all effects of the original Leadership expire when it is played. That means the token will be removed when it is played as it is an effect of the original Leadership. -
Bast’s Blessing - Hunter’s Joy
Negoldar replied to Festerheart's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
This is not correct. T’Challa is the attacker in this scenario. Hunter’s Joy states that “this character” makes the attack. That refers to T’Challa, not the defender.- 1 reply

Versatile Strategy/New Generation
Negoldar replied to SWCB's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
No. The last sentence of Versatile Strategy says all effects of the previous Leadership expire. That includes the tokens. -
Yes. There is no limit tied to how many Innate abilities can be used and there is only one Reactive ability being used here. Yes. This works for the reasons given above.

Immediately makes a focus action...
Negoldar replied to IDMTfirefighter's topic in Star Wars: Shatterpoint Rules Questions
The focus action occurs as part of the resolution of the Run and Gun ability. Your example works, however, the focus action is independent of making an attack.- 1 reply

Senators and Dark Council
Negoldar replied to sumo55's topic in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Rules Questions
No. The Dark Council does not grant a move action. It grants an Advance. In the described scenario, the attacker does not Advance. A different character will make the Advance so this interaction is not possible. -
The Rapid Fire attack occurs within the attack action so it will not trigger Cold Snap separately.
