  1. Correct. Trip Up is played during step 2c against the target of the attack at that time. In the situation described, after Trip Up is played on the character that is the target, the defending player changes the target of the attack. Trip Up was played on the first character, not the second so its effect doesn’t move to the new target.
  2. That is correct. Both are Reactive abilities that trigger off an attack.
  3. When the current turn ends, the game ends. As per the Appendix A timing chart for Taking a Turn, Objective control is checked before setting up the next Struggle then the new Struggle is selected and setup before the current turn ends. This means there will be no objectives currently controlled, so you will immediately move to the second tiebreaker.
  4. Yes. Removing the Exposed condition does not require there to be Expertise results to remove from the defense roll.
  5. Terrain features should be defined by opponents before the game starts to determine how they will be played. Based on your description: If the character does not fit in the location it would end movement in, it cannot end there. If the character does not fit on the terrain feature, it cannot end a movement there. It can be either depending on the nature of the terrain feature in question and how players define the terrain feature.
  6. Beams are measured as described in the beam attack section of the rulebook (page 16).
  7. You and your opponents will need to work together to determine the best way to do this keeping the Margin of Error rule in mind. A Watcher at an event would also be able to assist.
  8. In all of the described situations all enemy characters will gain Power. The timing of when the damage is received is not relevant.
  9. Characters do not have superpowers while Dazed. In the situation described, she is Dazed before Head of Wakanda R&D resolves so she will not benefit from it.
  10. Reactive abilities cannot be used more than once per turn. This is on page 11 of the main rulebook.
  11. It is a special rule. Paranoia Pummels Populace does not contradict the rules regarding Dazed characters not counting for scoring. The Dazed rules saying they cannot contribute to scoring still applies.
  12. The icon next to the name of the ability indicates what type of ability it is. All of the Infinity Gems have icons for Active, Reactive, or Innate superpowers. The superpowers on the Infinity Gems are gained by the holder. Yes. When an enemy character within range uses one of those superpowers the character holding the Infinity Gem: Soul card will gain 1 Power. Yes.
  13. It’s too late. He already had the opportunity to use that ability. He does not get another.
  14. No. Amazing Spider-Man does not suffer a collision as part of the Momentum rule so he will not suffer any damage.
  15. Page 16 of the rulebook covers this in the section about Dazed characters. “Dazed characters never contribute to scoring conditions.”
  16. Usurp the Throne is an Active Team Tactic Card. It cannot be played while resolving another effect. After being played, Usurp the Throne is in effect for the rest of the round.
