  1. When measuring range to the exhaust port, measure to the edge of the Exhast Port tile.
  2. The difficulty of the chosen action should match the difficulty on Hondo Ohnaka's (Firespray, Scum & Villainy) action bar.
  3. No, the cost of performing the rotate action is gaining the tractor token, and you cannot pay the cost without performing the rotate action. An action which cannot fail or 'be ignored'.
  4. Yes, when a ship is assigned the "Broken Trust" condition, it is now no longer friendly to itself.
  5. Correct, a ship with the Broken Trust condition would not be able to coordinate the now allied (formerly friendly) ships.
  6. The TIE/rb Heavy's Ship Ability, Rotating Cannnons states that you must treat the front arc restriction of your equpped cannon upgrades as a turret arc. If an equipped cannon does not have the front arc restriction, like Heavy Laser Cannon for example, the Rotating Cannons Ship Ability would not apply as it doesn't meet the requirements fo the ability.
  7. Both facedown and faceup damage cards can be Repaired. If a faceup damage card is repaired, it is flipped facedown. If a facedown damage card is repaired, it is discarded.
  8. There are no rules for this situation, so in a casual game players should come to a mutual agreement on how to resolve this. In a tournament setting, the players should call a judge to help them resolve the situation
  9. The Kelrodo-Ai Holdout is Initiative 1. This will be made clear in an upcoming errata update.
  10. Lapin is Initiative 3. This will be made clear in an upcoming errata update.
  11. No, when performing an attack, the attacker measures range from the closest point of its base to the closest point of the defender’s base that is in the attack arc. An attack is obstructed if the attacker measures range through an object.
  12. No. From the Rules Reference Guide (v1.4.4, page 39): Q: How does Chewbacca (Resistance, crew) interact with the Explosion with Wings ship ability? A: Chewbacca (Resistance, crew)'s "Setup: Lose 1 chage" ability occurs after the ship equipped with Chewbacca is placed during Step 5: Place Forces. Explosion with Wings causes a ship to be dealt a damage card during Step 6: Prepare Other Components. However, triggered abilities that do not have the "Setup:" header or explicitly mention a timing during Setup do not trigger during Setup. Thus, the second ability in Chewbacca's text ("After a friendly ship at range 0–3 is dealt 1 damage card, recover 1 charge", which does not mention setup nor have the header, does not trigger from "Explosion with Wings."
  13. No, unless otherwise specified, the coordinate action affects friendly ships only. Specific examples where this would not be the case would include (but is not limited to) the Hondo Ohnaka (crew) or Greef Karga (crew) upgrade cards.
  14. No, Cad Bane's (Rogue-class Starfighter, Separatist Alliance) pilot ability allows him to perform an action even while stressed, any further linked actions are subject to the normal restrictions stress has on actions.
  15. Yes, the word “can” is used to mean “has the capacity to.” For example, an ability that says “While you boost or barrel roll, you can move through and overlap obstacles” means when a ship with this ability boosts or barrel rolls, it ignores the rules that prevents them from overlapping or moving through obstacles. The ship always applies this effect as the effect is not optional but instead an expanded capability.
  16. To clarify, A cannon/missile/torpedo upgrade does not provide an attack arc for the reasons given in the Rules Reference Guide under Firing Arcs (v1.4.4 - pg. 4): Firing Arcs:A ship’s firing arcs include all shaded arcs on the ship’s ship token plus all turret arcs, if any.If an upgrade card gives a ship a turret arc or primary weapon with a specified arc, those arcs are also firing arcs. Therefor, if the attacker is in the arc used by an upgrade card (eg rear arc on Hotshot Tail Blaster) but that arc is not a turret arc nor a shaded arc, then abilities that require the attacker to be in a firing arc would not trigger.
  17. A gentle reminder to use the full name of the cards involved in your question (per the rules forum post)
  18. No. Hondo Ohnaka (Crew) instructs you to choose two ships that are friendly to each other, coordinate one of the chosen ships, then jam the other, ignoring range restrictions. There is no opportunity to 'interrupt' this and jam an unrelated ship.
  19. No, Trick Shot (Talent) allows the attacker to roll one additional attack die if the attack is obstructed. It does not matter how many obstacles are in the way, only one additional attack die is rolled.
  20. Rules Reference v1.4.4. pg. 9: A ship is damaged while it has at least one damage card. A ship is critically damaged while it has at least one faceup damage card. Rules Reference v1.4.4 pg. 39: Q: If "Rush" becomes damaged during the Engagement Phase before the initiative 2 step, causing its initiative to become "6", what happens? A: "Rush" engages at the current initiative step, after all other ships at that step have engaged. A reminder to be sure to only ask ONE rules question per thread. Create a new thread for each question. (Per the Forum Rules)
  21. No, while Heightened Perception (Force) allows a ship to engage at initiative 7, it does not change the initiative value of the ship itself.
  22. No, some ship cards and upgrade cards have limitations. These limited cards are identified by a number of bullets (•) to the left of their names. During squad building, a player cannot field more copies of cards that share that name than the number of bullets in front of the name. The Guarded condition card is a limited card with one bullet and as such only one copy can be in play.
