  1. There will be updated and clarified wording for the Joint Effort Team Tactic Card in the next Errata document.
  2. Yes, the speeder bikes in the picture are in cohesion. Since the base is a part of the miniature (even if it is not part of the silhouette) Speeder bike 2 is indeed within a vertical distance equal to the height of the unit leader's silhouette.
  3. Hello- Withdraw is not an action. An engaged unit may withdraw by spend all of its available actions, which then allows it to perform a speed-1 move action, ignoring any units it is in melee with. You cannot compel/pull the strings/guidance a withdraw.
  4. Multiple pieces of terrain can be used to obscure 50% of the vehicle's silhouette. The vehicle in your example would indeed have cover.
  5. Hello- Commanding Presence does not remove the restriction imposed by the Imperial Remnant Battleforce. A commander unit may still only issue orders at range 1-2, even if they have selected the Commanding Presence upgrade- the upgrade essentially has no effect. Inspiring Presence functions as written on the card. Since the card specifies that the increased range from the upgrade can be reduced by other effects, the upgrade does not remove the restriction imposed by the Battleforce, so units may only use the courage value of a commander unit at range 1-2. The upgrade essentially has no effect. War Weary functions as written on the card. Since the card reduces the range that units may use a commander unit's courage value by 2 to a minimum of 1, units in an Imperial Remnant Battleforce would only be able to use the courage value of a friendly commander unit at range 1 when the War Weary card is in play.
  6. Hello! The entry for Arsenal X should read: "When choosing weapons during the Form Attack Pool step, each miniature in the unit that has the Arsenal X keyword can contribute X weapons to attack pools. Each weapon or combination of weapons may form a new attack pool, but each weapon may only be added to one attack pool." This will be fixed in an update coming very soon!

  8. Yes. Always discuss terrain with your opponent before the game, as ultimately it is up to you, the players, to decide what rules your terrain has.
  9. A unit leader who is fully inside the firing arc is indeed at least partially in the firing arc, yes.
  10. The height of the feature that you are trying to climb on. Remember some pieces of terrain can be made up of multiple parts/heights. The former. Correct. I'm not sure I 100% follow, but yes, you can climb through the "ceiling" or floor of a terrain feature, unless you and your opponent decide that it is impassable. I believe the answer to the previous question answers this.
  11. Hello- Ground vehicles do not give cover to themselves. This will be made more clear in the future.
  12. Hello- Yes, you can spend dodge tokens even if there are no hits to cancel. This will be made more clear in the future.
  13. Hello- LOS should be drawn from the defender to the token. This will be made more clear in the future.
  14. No, this will be made clear in the future. Low Profile only cancels an additional hit result.
  15. Hello! Miniatures now typically move in two ways- standard moves, or climbs. Pg. 25: "Some abilities provide standard moves, often of certain speeds. A move provided by an ability is not a move action unless specifically stated." The bolded part is relavent because many abilities (Steady, Relentless, Tactical) have been re-worded to specify exactly when a unit may trigger ability (standard move, standard move as part of a move action, etc) As for pivots, reverses, etc, the rules state that these movements can be done instead of another movement: For example, Pivot, Pg. 35 "When a unit that can pivot performs a move action, it may choose to pivot instead of performing another movement." These are not standard moves.
  16. The defending player chooses where to assign wounds. In the situation you described, the defender would have to assign any wounds to other miniatures not in LOS, since a unit leader may not be assigned wounds unless it is the last miniature in a unit. Remember: "When a unit suffers wounds from an attack, if the attacker has LOS to only some of the miniatures in the defending unit, the defending unit cannot suffer wounds greater than the total wound threshold of miniatures that are in LOS." So if the unit leader is the only visible miniature and has a wound threshold of 1, the unit only suffers 1 wound which must be assigned to another miniature in the unit, even if it is not in LOS (since leaders may not be assigned wounds unless they are the only miniature in the unit)
  17. Units with Scale do not reduce their speed when moving through difficult terrain. They may also climb terrain that is up to height 2. They still move Speed 1 during this climb.
  18. Hello! No, since Arsenal X defines when it may be used (Choose Weapons and Gather Dice step) a unit with the Arsenal X keyword may not add extra weapons to an attack pool using the Fire Support keyword. Just one!
  19. Hello! The "before" here is referring to pivots granted by the Reposition keyword. Since Relentless triggers after a move, the creature trooper must first complete the withdraw move before performing any free attack action granted by the Relentless keyword.
