Just wanting clarification that if a ship has Ablative Plating and the ship flies through or lands on an asteroid if you roll a hit from the effect of the asteroid you can use both charges from the plating to avoid both points of damage or would it be considered a single source of damage and you could only use the plating to stop 1 of the 2 damage the ship would suffer.

Just wanting to know if a player cancels the damage from a Thread Tracers missile with Iden's ability, is the defender still considered hit and will the Thread Tracers ability to grant Target Locks to other friendly ships still trigger?
