  1. Once an objective is controlled by me, am I able to maintain control of it if my character/unit leaves that objective? Is there a distance requirement to maintain control, or is it just it's mine until I lose it to my opponent?
  2. Hello, As objective tokens are objects, and you can't have objects ovelaping unless they are terrain features, can a character stand on an objective token ? Thank you for your answer !
  3. I'm curious about controlling an objective if its not active. Say we are on Shifting Priorities 2 or 3 and I know the 3 possible objectives. Is it possible to control an objective that is not currently active in case it were to become active when I roll the defense die?
  4. So, was just teaching a friend to play and we suddenly had a question about the priority objective token. I've looked in th edigital rulebook, the FAQ and the rules on the Shifting and Escalating Priorities cards and can't seem to find a definitive answer. So, when a player rolls the defence die to determine the Priority Objective, how do you determine where the objective sits on the board? Is it: 1) determined by the player who lost the previous struggle (or went first in the first struffle if that comes later), based on the map that they chose (i.e. so their side of the board is always considered the bottom of the card?) 2) flips each turn so the bottom of the card (and of the chosen layout) is the side closest to the player 3) As 1, but the player determines which orientation (which I know with the current ones doesn't mean much as they are mirrors of each other, but could do in the future)? 4) an option I've not considered
  5. In page 19 of the Core Rules book, it says: At the end of each Turn, the player with the most characters at the same Elevation as an Objective token and contesting that objective controls it. If there is a tie, control of the objective does not change. If there are no characters contesting the objective that are at the same Elevation as the Objective token, the player with the most characters contesting the objective that are at different Elevations than the Objective token controls it. If there is a tie, control of the objective does not change. When a player controls an objective, they place a Control token on it to show it is being controlled, replacing their opponent’s Control token, if one is present. Inactive objectives cannot be contested or controlled. I do understand the examples in the pictures given next to the paragraph, but what about the following case? Ahsoka Tano is contesting an Active Objective with Lord Maul at the same Elevation, while her allied Captain Rex and Maul's allied Mandalorian Super Commandos (2 Characters, who are Ahsoka's enemies) are in Range 2 of the Active Objective but are at a different Elevation of it. Aside, the Active Objective was previously under control of Ahsoka's Player in the last Turn. In this case - 1) Maul's Player win the Active Objective - there is a tie at the same Elevation of the Active Objective, thus characters at different Elevation should be taken into count; 2) It's a tie therefore Ahsoka's Player keeps control of the Active Objective - the rule only says characters at different Elevation could be taken into count when there are no characters contesting the Objective that are at the same Elevation as the Objective token, with no mention saying when there's a tie of the contest at the same Elevation, it should be resolved in the same way. Which is correct?
  6. If player one controls point “A”. But then moves the character out of range of point “ A”. If there are no other characters within range to contest point A does player one still score from it without any characters on it?
  7. In the rule book, under "claim" (p. 39) it says: "After the unit performs any movement, that unit’s controlling player may pick up any claimed objective tokens and place them in base contact with the unit leader." I find the wording "may" a bit strange here. It seems to imply that when a unit which has a claimed objective token performs a move, it is optional to move the objective token with it. In other words, that you could choose to leave the claimed objective token in place, effectively running away from it, while it remains claimed. Is this how the rule should be interpreted?
  8. Hey, Do Engaged units count there unit leader towards controlling an objective if there in range 1 of the objective marker. On the Intercept the transmissions battle card.
  9. 1) When the entity takes damage because the attacker got all artifact to alter, doed that entity get power for that damage? 2) Do the artifacts count as extract objectives for the purpose of Mystique's leadership?
  10. After I control an Objective, can I move the character that interacted with the Objective away from it and still keep the control over it? I mean, can I keep the control over the Objective even if I do not have any character within R1 from it?
  11. When do players reveal their objectives? Can the second player know what objectives the first player had chosen for his fleet? Thanks!!
  12. Scenario 1: Character is within Range 1 of 2 or more, of the same, asset token. Does the character spend; 1 to interact and pickup all of the extracts in range or 1 power per asset token in range? Scenario 2: Character is within Range 1 of 2 Cosmic Cube Fragments, and 1 Chimichanga. Does the character spend; 1 to interact and pickup all 3 of the Tokens or 2 power to pick up the 3 tokens (1 for each asset name) or 3 power to pick up the three tokens? (1 for each token picked up)
  13. How should it be handled when an objective token would be placed according to the crisis layout, but cannot be physically placed on top of a piece of terrain (example: won’t balance) and the terrain is too large for any character to interact with it (example: extends beyond range one in every direction but characters are unable to be placed on the terrain piece)? In most cases the objective could be placed under the terrain, but there are cases when this would fully obscure the objective token and make measurement difficult.
  14. According to the rulebook "When a character holding one or more objective tokens is Dazed or Ko'd, they drop all objective tokens they were holding. (...) The opposing player of the character that dropped the tokens places them". What happens for characters as Ant-Man or the Wasp who will drop objectives when changing to tiny? Does the opposing player still place the tokens?
