Obi wan kenobi out of hiding and Run

Just for clarification if obi were to target himself with Run he also needs to be engaged correct? Or can he target himself or an allied character who is engaged

Very quick one - Does Obi need to be engaged himself to be chosen for Run at the start of his activation?

Just to confirm: Obi-Wan (out of hiding) Run hability. If you choose him, does he need to be engaged to be able to perform the heal and reposition?

When using the Run ability on Obi-Wan Kenobi's (Out of Hiding) card, does Obi-Wan need to meet the Engaged criteria? Or is that only if you're selecting another allied character?

There is some confusion surrounding the targeting of Obi Wan Kenobi, Out of Hidings ability Run. Specifically the line which reads "Choose a character in this unit or another allied character that is Engaged with an enemy character."

 

Does the engagement clause only refer to the "or another character" or does it also limit when Obi Wan can use it on himself?

 

In other words, does Obi Wan Kenobi have to be engaged to receive the benefit of the ability?

Obi-Wan kenobi does not need to be engaged to choose himself when selecting a character for the Run ability
