Make a 5 dice attack clarification

Hi

With abilities such as Brave Yet Foolish that say .."then make a five dice attack" what are the conditions to be able to make this attack? LoS? Range? Is it a ranged or melee attack? Etc

All rules for attacks must be followed when making one of these attacks such as range and LOS.

If the rule does not specify a type of attack, either may be used provided the character has that type of attack available to them.
