"Mind trick" and "Twice the Pride, Double the fall"

If an opponent attacks my Count Dooku and my Obiwan uses "Mind trick", the attack ends. May I trigger "Twice the Pride" if I wish to? 

I think perhaps not, because there was no attack roll, however I also wonder if I might be able to, because there was also clearly no hit results.

No. The attack never gets to the timing step for Twice the Pride, Double the Fall to trigger.
