Would Darth Vader, Jedi Hunter be limited to using either Riposte or The Sith Lord Strikes Back against a given attack that wounds him, or are the timing events distinct (eg, "After a melee attack" and "when this unit is wounded")? The core rules says " Each player may only use one Reactive (I) ability in response to a single triggering event," so it seems to me that the question is whether the attack is one event and becoming wounded is another, or if they are somehow considered the same event?

Can Vader trigger both Riposte and The Sith Lord Strikes Back off the same attack? Ie., only one ability can trigger off one event. Riposte is triggered by the miss in the attack and The Sith Lord Strikes Back by the Wounding.

He can use both, yes.

The event for Riposte is an attack was made, with conditionals of it being a melee attack targeting his Unit.

The event for The Sith Lord Strikes Back is that his unit is wounded.
