Multi-character unit wounded during action

I used a combat action with a 2 character unit.  The first attack was a ranged attack against Anakin.  The deflect reaction on that attack wounded the activating Unit.

Would that Unit immediately cease the combat action because they were wounded during their activation or would the second character still perform his attack and complete the original combat action?

The second character will not be able to make an attack as the activation will end before it is able to do so.
