Clarification on New Movement Rule and Range Interaction

Recommended Posts

With the recent rule change allowing a miniature to touch any part of the movement tool, was it intended for a speed 2 move to be approximately equal to or slightly longer than a range 1 stick? Previously, I couldn't move and then shoot my opponent at range 2 if they shot me from exactly range 3 (18 inches). With the new movement mechanic, it's unclear if this situation has changed. Could you provide any clarification? Thank you for your time.

Hello there,

Players should carefully measure their unit's movement and desired ranges whenever applicable using the appropriate tools; a move for a particularly-sized miniature base & a given range are not units that can be converted between.

It is possible that a speed-2 move performed by a small-base miniature crosses a distance equal to or greater than range 1.

Hope this helps,
Seth
