Krunstal Posted August 31 Posted August 31 You use compel or dauntless when a unit is suppressed and meets the other requirements. If a unit uses one of those abilities but then would become panicked what happens to the remaining action. I believe that since the respective unit(s) check how many actions they have after the rally step there would be no impact on their one suppressed action. I have put an example scenario below. Say a squad of black sun enforcers are outside of 3 of a commander and have 1 suppression. They don't have a vigo upgrade so are only courage 1. They don't remove any suppression during their rally. They are suppressed. They use dauntless to get a free move action and then gain a suppression. They now have two suppression and are now panicked. Can they perform their one action, or does their activation immediately end?
Seth Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Hi there, A unit may become panicked by using the Dauntless or Compel keywords. A unit only loses its actions due to panic if it begins its Perform Actions step while panicked. A unit is in its Perform Actions step when it applies the Compel or Dauntless keywords, and as such is no longer "beginning" its Perform Actions step. --------------------------------------- On 8/31/2024 at 9:19 AM, Krunstal said: Say a squad of black sun enforcers are outside of 3 of a commander and have 1 suppression. They may complete their activation as they were not panicked at the beginning of their Perform Actions step. Hope this helps, Seth
