Tactical strike, and Recon Intel

If I Tactical Strike round 1, and say deploy Death Troopers using the speed 1 from Recon Intel would they benefit from the Tactical 1 granted to them from the command card?

Hi there,

Yes, a unit may benefit from Tactical 1 with when performing a free move action granted by Scout X.

A unit will choose to reduce its speed to gain the effects of the Tactical Strike command card when it activates, which will be prior to performing the Scout X move at the start of its Perform Actions step, and so the unit can benefit from the Tactical 1 granted by the command card for this move.
