Destroy Enemy Base timing with Reinforcements.

Was playing a game and unit with a bomb token was outside of the range of a placed POI from the secondary mission. At beginning of end step the unit is allowed a reinforcement move. Also the secondary mission says if at the beginning of the end step the unit is contesting the POI they get to detonate the bomb. Will the reinforcement move allow the bomb holder to score or does the game check at the beginning of the end phase and then the move happens, resulting in the unit to wait an additional turn to score?

Hi there,

As described in the Timing entry: "Sometimes effects will occur at the same time. The player with priority always resolves their effects first." (...) "If a player has multiple effects that occur at the same time, they choose the order in which to resolve effects."

Reinforcements reads: "At the start of the End Phase of the first round of a game..."

Destroy Enemy Base reads: "At the start of the End Phase, if one or more friendly units are contesting an enemy Base that you are securing..."

Both the Reinforcements unit keyword and the Destroy Enemy Base Secondary Mission Card's Special Rules are effects that occur at the beginning of the End Phase. The player with priority will resolve all of their effects with the same timing to which they are eligible, in the order of their choosing, and then the player without priority will do the same.

The player with priority will resolve all of their effects at the beginning of the End Phase (Reinforcements, Destroy Enemy Base, or otherwise), and then the player without priority will do so. Each player may order their effects however they choose. They may choose to perform the moves granted by Reinforcements prior to applying the special on the Destroy Enemy Base Secondary Objective Card.
