Wormy32 Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Hi, Looking at Paz's card I want to check something. His two reactive abilities have slightly different triggers, the first triggers after an attack on an allied character within range 2, so after an attack on himself he can shoot back. The other triggers on him becoming wounded by an attack. Now the rules say you can only trigger one reactive ability per trigger, but these are not quite the same trigger as I read it, so if someone attacked Paz Vizsla and wounded him, could he trigger the "I'll Cover the Rear" for being attacked and the "Go. There are too many of them. This is the Way" for being wounded in order to not only stand back up but shoot the attacker twice? Or would these be the same "triggering event" as it is called on page 10 of the rules?

This means they both can be used in your scenario due to Paz Vizla being an allied character within range 2 of himself. I'll cover the rear's trigger event is an attack was made. Go. There are too many. This is the way's trigger is becoming wounded.
Pinto397 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Would both of these triggers be performed in step 10d of the attack and in the order of the defender’s choosing? Also because Paz is now wounded in step 9 to pull off both these triggers in step 10d would require 3 force correct??? Thanks.

Both are used after the attack is resolved, which as a defender would place it in 10d, yes. He will be wounded at the point they are used if using both, yes.
