hermoine44 Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Hey guys.....😇 I am hoping to get some clarification on a situation that came up in a recent game regarding Magneto’s “Constructs” and how they interact with terrain features. Specifically, during a game, my opponent and I disagreed on how Magneto’s Constructs are treated when it comes to interacting with terrain elements, especially in terms of destruction and movement. The scenario involved Magneto placing a Construct within range of a size 2 terrain feature. My opponent argued that the Construct, being its own object, doesn’t block or interact with the terrain the way other characters might, especially when trying to destroy or move that terrain piece with a superpower or effect. On the other hand, I believed that because Constructs are tied to Magneto’s abilities and are themselves destructible, they should be able to interact with and potentially block certain terrain effects. We’re also curious if there’s any difference when a character tries to throw terrain into a Construct versus simply destroying the terrain outright while the Construct is within range. Does the Construct impact the resolution of the throw or destruction in any way? Any clarification from those more familiar with the rules would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.
Negoldar Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Constructs are terrain features. They follow all the rules of terrain features. It is unclear what you mean by moving a terrain feature.
