Hobo Posted November 2 Posted November 2 For I'll Cover the Rear, does the allied character have to be within range 2 of Paz at the end of the attack, or when targeted? Mainly, can the targeted allied character be pushed in/out of range, or could they have a defensive expertise dash/reposition allowing them to end within range 2, or is it just when targeted? I also wanted to confirm if the event of an allied character being targeted was separate from Paz's Unit becoming Wounded, meaning that when Paz is attacked he could both elect to react to being targeted with I'll Cover the Rear and react to being Wounded with Go. There are too Many. This is the Way, even though it could be the same attack that his Unit was targeted with that Wounded him.

The range check is when the ability is used, which is 10d of the attack. But otherwise yes, the events between I'll cover the rear and Go. There are too many. This is the way are different events and both could be used assuming the other conditions are met. In the future, please create separate topics for separate questions.
