Sweep and Clear + Guardian

I’m not sure if this has been asked or not, but how does guardian interact with Sweep and Clear? Do you still get points if the unit that used guardian is defeated?

Hi there,

A player may mark the appropriate space on the Sweep and Clear Secondary Objective Card when an enemy unit is defeated by an attack. They do not have to be the defender of the attack.

Yes; a unit defeated by using the Guardian X was defeated as a result of an enemy attack, and so would be an opportunity for the attacking unit's controlling player to score using the Sweep and Clear card.
