Podfrey Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Hello there! If a Speeder 1 unit moved such that it was now blocked from moving forwards by a Height 2 terrain, is there any obligation on the Speeder player to take actions to ‘free’ the speeder up so that it could complete a compulsory move action, e.g. Pivot. Or is is OK to sit ‘stuck’ where it is? The scenario I am thinking of is a Speeder getting itself ‘stuck’ on terrain, but only partially. This would allow it to remain stationary and, for example, aim & shoot each turn without the need to move forwards into danger.
Seth Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Hi there, When a unit performs a compulsory move, it performs a full move at its maximum speed. If it cannot do so, it will perform a partial move instead, as far along the tool as possible. This is only considered when making the compulsory move; a player is under no obligation during actions performed prior to the compulsory move (that turn or on prior activations) to create the opportunity for a full move during the compulsory move. --------------------------------- On 11/25/2024 at 10:05 AM, Podfrey said: If a Speeder 1 unit moved such that it was now blocked from moving forwards by a Height 2 terrain, is there any obligation on the Speeder player to take actions to ‘free’ the speeder up so that it could complete a compulsory move action, e.g. Pivot. If the Speeder X unit cannot perform a full move when it goes to perform its compulsory move, it will move as far as possible. This does mean it can be "blocked" by terrain. Hope this helps, Seth
