ChrisFortyTwo
I have done a few searches, and am confused about this line from Repair: Remove a total of up to x wound, ion, and/or vehicle damage tokens from the chosen unit or restore up to x miniatures to that unit. and the similar line in Treat: Remove a total of up to x wound and/or poison tokens from the chosen unit or restore up to x miniatures to that unit. Based on that description (2.0.2), I would expect that X minis are completely restored. However, when reading these two answers, there seems to be an implication that the units with a wound threshold larger than 1 are restored with wounds such that a single hit kills them. In addition, the official ruling does not clarify the situation, but only states that one can remove wounds and restore miniatures in any order (not the status of the restored miniatures). https://forums.atomicmassgames.com/topic/4523-treatrepair-with-multi-wound-models https://forums.atomicmassgames.com/topic/1088-restore-clarification Can you provide a link to a ruling, errata or statement somewhere that clarifies whether a restored mini is wound-free or has wounds such that it is only one hit away from being killed? This is an important clarification with respect to any unit (droid, vehicle or trooper) with a wound threshold larger than 1.
TalkPolite
Hello, You're looking for this line in “Restore”, from the RRG: “Then, give that mini a number of wound tokens equal to one less than the wound threshold indicated on its unit card.” Let me know if that answers your question, TP
ChrisFortyTwo
Yes, that answers my question - I am also going to add this quote from Restore, so anyone else searching like I did will see it: To restore a mini to a unit, that unit must have had one or more minis defeated that round.
