Precision Scopes Timing

Hello,

Just wanted to clarify the timing of when the Precision Scopes upgrade from the Supply Drop condition can be used.  The card says it can be used during the Roll Attack Dice step of an attack.

The Roll Attack Dice Step in the RRG has 3 substeps: Roll Dice, Reroll Dice & Convert Attack Surges.  

Can Precision Scopes be used during/after any of these substeps, i.e. you roll the attack dice and then decide if you want an aim token after seeing the initial roll? If so could the card also be used after using an aim the unit already has to reroll dice?

Hello,

Because the card specifies that happens “during” the Roll Attack Dice step, it can happen at any point during that step.
