ryfterek
Hi! Based on Star Wars: Legion Core Rule Book v1.5, the following governs Ground Vehicles as a source of Cover: Quote Ground vehicles block LOS as if they were a piece of area terrain consisting of the volume of their silhouette. Does this mean that: The LOS is blocked completely by Ground Vehicles, such as AT-RT and AT-ST walkers, despite them having indisputable "clear space" between their legs? The LOS through a Ground Vehicles cannot be drawn even when the attacker is in base contact with the Vehicle? If LOS through a Ground Vehicle could be drawn on the pemise of being in base contact with them, is the LOS not blocked at all, from the POV of the unit in base contact with the vehicle, despite any physical features of the Ground Vehicle's mini? If so, can a unit in base contact with a Ground Vehicle make range attacks onto targets that will not be able to respond with a range attack back againts them, because the Ground Vehicle would serve as a "one-way" LOS blocker? Seth
Hello, Ryfterek, 22 hours ago, ryfterek said: The LOS is blocked completely by Ground Vehicles, such as AT-RT and AT-ST walkers, despite them having indisputable "clear space" between their legs? The silhouette of ground vehicles blocks LOS. This does mean completely. 22 hours ago, ryfterek said: If LOS through a Ground Vehicle could be drawn on the premise of being in base contact with them, is the LOS not blocked at all, from the POV of the unit in base contact with the vehicle, despite any physical features of the Ground Vehicle's mini? If LOS to a miniature is completely blocked, the miniature is obscured. This is true whether or not the attacking unit leader is in base contact with the terrain responsible. Refer to the Apply Dodge and Cover step on page 30, under Determine Number of Obscured Miniatures, for the full rule. Hope this helps, Seth
