Cover Determination To Tall Vehicles (AT-ST)

Just for further clarification on this:

This would also grant cover to the at-st as well or would this have to be declared at the determine terrain step before the game starts? And for further clarification size of the obstruction is irrelevant, just that it exists and that is covering up some part of the cyclinder/silhouette e.g. a box half the size of a trooper provides cover to both (provided neither is touching said box)?

Hello!

For the AT-ST to gain cover, per the Ground Vehicles entry on page 37, at least 50% of its silhouette must be obscured from any part of the attacking unit leader.
