  1. Hello there!

There has been a question in our community:

Can you use a miniature from a different box/version of a character to play with a card from another box/version?

For example: Using the miniature of “Darth Vader, Jedi Hunter” from “You cannot run” pack, but playing with the card of “Darth Vader, The Emperor’s Servant” from the “Fear and dead men” pack.

    Thank you very much.

  2. Hello there!

Event Organizer here. We are using the Showdown rules for tournaments, including the Mission Critical mechanic.

During a tournament, I shouted the start of Mission Critical and a player asked me if this will be applied during the current turn that was about to end, or if it will be applied to the next full turn. What is the exact timing?

    thank you!

  3. Hello There!

When you remove hunker tokens after an attack, you may remove all tokens to heal. Each character that Heal may Dash.

Question is: The character who wants to Dash:

    A) Must remove a damage or condition from it's unit.

    B) Can remove a damage or condition to a friendly character at range 2.

    C) Can "attempt" to heal himself, even if it has no damage or condition tokens.

    Thank you very much!

  4. Hello there!

    Following the Timing chart:

    Quote

    9. Apply all damage (Q) from the Damage Pool to the defending character.

    10. Resolve all effects that happen after the attack is resolved.

    A. Attacker resolves any remaining effects from their Attack Expertise Chart.

    B. Defender resolves any remaining effects from their Defense Expertise Chart.

    C. Attacker resolves all of their abilities and special rules in the order of their choice.

    D. Defender resolves all of their abilities and special rules in the order of their choice.

    E. Resolve all non-player abilities and special rules in the order chosen by the attacking player.

What is the timing of Lord Maul's "Revenge, I must have revenge" ability? Step 10C? Or since it says "immediatelly" it's at the end of the step 9, where Maul would be wounded?

    Thank you!

  5. Hello There!

In the "claim" section, page 39, it says:

    Quote

After the unit performs any movement, that unit’s controlling player may pick up any claimed objective tokens and place them in base contact with the unit leader.

Question is: If a unit is force pushed, who sets where the objective token will be, the player who makes the force push move, or the player who owns the unit.

    Thank you!

  6. Hello There!

IG11 played Anti-Capture Protocols and is transported with 3 wounds or more wounds at the end of his activation.

    Page 55 states that:

    Quote

Self-Destruct attacks may not be made by a unit that is embarked on a transport.

After performing all attacks, the unit performing the SelfDestruct attack is defeated and removed from play

Since he cannot perform the attacks, will he be defeated?

    Thank you!

  7. Hello there!

Page 23-24 deals with executing partial moves with notched bases. It says:

    Quote

The miniature must be placed in such a way so that the line of the front and back notches on its base are parallel to the section of the movement tool the miniature reached at the farthest part of its move.

What is considered "reached at the farthest part of its move"? It means that the front notch reaches the second section of the movement tool ir when the center of the base reaches the center of the movement tool joint?

    Thank you very much!

  8. Hello there!

Consider an Obstacle Terrain like a house. If I understand the new rules, to make the walls and rooftops climbable by a trooper unit, it must be considered Open or at least Difficult.

When establishing cohesion it says on page 19:

    Quote

When measuring cohesion, the speed-1 movement tool may not overlap a piece of impassable terrain.

This means that cohesion could be stablished through a wall or corner, even if a standard move could not be performed?

  9. Hello There!

    1) On page 12 it says:

    Quote

    Fitting on terrain:

When a trooper miniature’s base is overlapping a piece of obstacle terrain, it must be completely overlapping that terrain. Trooper miniatures cannot end a movement or be placed in a way that would cause their base to only partially overlap a piece of obstacle terrain and may not have any part of part of its base hanging off the terrain. Trooper miniatures cannot be deployed in a way where any part of their base is only partially overlapping a piece of obstacle terrain.

We are having a strong debate in our community about what "completely overlaping" means. All the base must be flat to the surface? It there is any texture, bump, decoration or so on the obstacle terrain so not all the base touches it, is correct or not?

    2) Pages 37 and 38 under rules for ground and repulsor vehicles says in both entries:

    Quote

" A ground/repulsor vehicle may not end a move or be placed in a position where the miniature would be physically unstable or fall over, or cause the angle of the miniature’s base to be greater than 45°"

Question is: Does other unit types may end a move or be placed with an angle less than 45º?

    Thank you very much.
