  1. Are Innate superpowers optional or are you required to use them when the triggering event occurs and it doesn't say "may" in the superpower. The core rules say "Innate superpowers do not have to be activated and never cost Power". Does that mean you can choose not to activated since they do not HAVE to be activated?

Additionally, in the core rules example, it says "I Can Take It" is an Innate superpower, so it doesn't require Power and can be used whenever its trigger conditions are met." Again, since it says it CAN be used, it leads me to believe there is an option to not use it if you want to?

So in that example, CAN Crossbones, Merciless Merc choose to suffer the full damage opposed to reducing the damage by 1?

  2. If the opposing player wounds a character on that characters activation (like Jango Fett’s Not So Fast), and the added momentum would result in the opposing player to win the struggle, what happens now?

Follow up, would it be different if it was not wounding the active character (like Dooku identity causing the supporting unit to daze a character other than the active character)?

  3. Does Steadfast prevent the shove from the expertise part of the stance card? If a character has Steadfast, and they don't receive a push as part of the attack tree, when you reach the part of the attack sequence that the expertise effects happen, does Steadfast prevent that push?

And if so, with Bo-Katan granting steadfast to Mandos who are contesting an active objective, if the character is wounded during the damage portion of the attack, are they no longer contesting and therefore lose steadfast, and are able to be pushed by the expertise push?

  4. Does Protection prevent any damage from the expertise part of the stance card? Protection specifies in the attack tree. If damage is listed in the expertise part of the stance and they take no damage from the attack tree, does the character still take damage or does Protection prevent that?

  5. Does the Magnaguard's ability Intercede override Ahsoka Tano's ability to target for an attack from Fierce Protector?

    As an example:

Count Dooku wounds one of my allied characters. Ahsoka triggers Fierce Protector and then advances to engage with Dooku but will also result in being engaged with the Magnaguards. Can she attack Dooku or does Intercede prevent Dooku from the retaliatory attack and she cannot target the Magnaguards since Fierce Protector specifies who she can target? So the result is a free advance and a heal?

  6. Character A and Character B are at the same elevation from each other. Character A is under a bridge and the bridge is at a higher elevation than Character A. Character B uses a ranged attack on Character A.

Does Character A have cover even though there is no terrain that is obstructing the attack at the same elevation?

  7. If Immortal Hulk is dazed, during the Cleanup Phase, he has Immortality. However, how to you resolve the following potential issues?

    1. If he was hit with Grievous Wounds, is he unable to remove his wounds due to Immortality? If he is unable to remove his wounds, does he remain dazed, and therefore doesn't receive an immortality token until the next round when GW is no longer in effect or does he KO?

    2. If he is hit with an attack that leaves him on zero power (like Ghost Rider's Penance Stare), if he has no power to remove wounds, does he remain dazed or is he KO'd? If so, since he is dazed going into the next round, can he gain power from the power phase so that he can remove tokens the next cleanup phase or is he perpetually dazed?

    Hope that is clear! Thanks!

  8. Under the third bullet of his attack, "If this attack deals damage, after each attack is resolved, this character suffers 1 damage." Does this mean if he deals damage on an attack within the beam, then he suffers a damage, or if he deals damage on one attack, then all attacks, he will be dealt damage.

    Example.

If he has three models under his beam template. And he deals damage to the first one, none to the second, and none to the third. Does he take 1 damage for the first attack and none for the rest, or does he take 1 damage for each attack in the beam since he dealt damage in the first attack?
