Salvage Mission: When a ship that is towing a supply cache suffers a [Critical] damage or is destroyed, the supply cache is jettisoned.

 

Chewbacca: Before you would be dealt a faceup damage card, you may spend 1 [Charge] to be dealt the card facedown instead.

Beskar: While you defend, if the attacker is in your [Front Arc], before you would be dealt a faceup damage card, you may spend 1 [Charge] to be dealt that card facedown instead, or spend 2 [Charge] to discard it instead.

Impervium Plating: Before you would be dealt a faceup Ship damage card, you may spend 1 [Charge] to discard it instead.

 

Does being dealt the card facedown instead or discarding the card instead bypass the Salvage Mission requirement to drop the supply cache?

No, these upgrades have no effect on whether the supply cache needs to be jettisoned after suffering a critical damage. In all of the above cases the ship will still suffer the critical damage, it just potentially changes how the card was dealt after this. A critical damage being suffered into shields will also cause the supply cache to be jettisoned even though no damage card is dealt.
