Seth Posted June 13, 2023 Share Posted June 13, 2023 Hello, If an ability or keyword targets "other/another unit(s) at range X", it may not be used on the unit itself. An example of this would be the Compel keyword. As Force Guidance does not specify to pick other friendly units at range 1-2, the force user in question indeed may give itself a surge token per the text of the card.
