Imperial remnants unit type during list building and during the game

I'm Imperial remnant battleforce mentioned that following elite units are treated as corps (death troopers, scout troopers). Does they also count as corps units on the table for mission or abilities purposes (such as hostage exchange and vigilance)?

Hello,

When playing the Imperial Remnant Battle Force, Scout Troopers and Imperial Death Troopers are considered Corps units for the purposes of Army Building.

For all other purposes after Army Building, they return to their printed unit rank and use the appropriate order tokens. They will not be considered Corps units when resolving battle cards (such as the mentioned Hostage Exchange) nor for effects during the game such as the Vigilance upgrade card or various command cards.
