Seize what power we can & Jar Kai

Hey!

Shadow Collective Maul and Ahsoka are engaged in melee on a turn when " Seize what power we can " has been played. 

If Ahsoka performs a melee attack against Maul and uses Jar Kai mastery to improve attack dice results using dodges. Would those dodge tokens be placed on the command card immediately and be available to use in Mauls defensive of the same attack?

Using the Jar'kai Mastery keyword, a unit may spend dodge tokens during the Convert Attack Surges step to improve attack dice.

As the dodge tokens are spent, they would indeed be placed on Maul's Seize What Power We Can command card in your example, and may then be spent by Maul later on in the attack sequence.
