If it doesn’t, would having a unit in reserve and him being the last card in the order deck cause the infinite loop of him activating until he wounds someone?

Sabé’s bodyguard ability states, “Allied Primary characters within 2 and allied Secondary characters within 2 of a character in this Unit have Cover [1].” Since Sabé is a Secondary character, is allied to herself, and is within range 2 of herself, does she benefit from her own bodyguard ability?
