I've got a Resistance-Falcon with C-3PO and a X-Wing with underslung Blastercannon and droid L4E-R5. Does the first part of the card Text from C-3PO apply: "...While you coordinate, you can choose friendly ships beyond range 2 if they have on their action bar..."? Is the calculate-action on the action bar of the x-wing, although it's only there in an linked form?

No, the Linked Action Calculate that is provided by L4E-R5 cannot be used to satisfy Resistance C-3PO's requirements to choose a ship beyond range 2 while co-ordinating. This is because the "Action Bar" and "Linked Action Bar" are two separate enties (as defined in the Action subsection, Linked Action subsection and Card Anatomy subsections). Thus if an action only appears on the "Linked Action Bar" it will not satisfy the requirement of it being on "their action bar".
