sorrowabused
Hey, I have a question about ion damage and shields. I know there was some confusion about the order of handling ions and shields, but I still have a question. For example, if an attack pool with Ion 1 attacks a unit with Shield 1, then a shield token is rendered inactive without negating a hit. But if still a hit or critical hit goes through, does the defender get an ion token or is this negated by the shield? I hope the question is clear and thanks in advance! Kind regards Edited October 31, 2023 by sorrowabused
Seth
Hello, 5 hours ago, sorrowabused said: But if still a hit or critical hit goes through, does the defender get an ion token or is this negated by the shield? A unit will gain X ion tokens if it suffered one or more wounds after defending against an attack that included a weapon with the Ion X keyword. Yes, in a single attack, Ion X can force the defending unit to flip X shield tokens and apply X ion tokens, assuming the dice roll in the attacker's favor! Hope this helps, Seth
