Ram and Cover

While using Ram as a ranged attack using 5th Brother with Saber Throw, how does it interact with Cover? Does cover remove dice altogether like Dodge, or does it turn dice blank, which could then be turned in to crits using Ram?

As described in the Apply Dodge and Cover entry, canceled dice are removed from the attack pool.

Hits canceled in this way are no longer in the attack pool to be improved using the Ram keyword during the Modify Attack Dice step.
