Thanks! Should I be able to find this in the Rulebook?

Character does an advance at the same elevation from Gantry A to Gantry B diagonally and ends his advance only partially overlapping Gantry B and partially overlapping the ground at a lower elevation. Is the character moved toward Gantry B so it fully overlaps? Or can the character not make this movement? Was not able to find a clear answer in the Core rule book.
