disembark with standby and closed transport

there's a rule with disembark that you can "use" a standby token to disembark. if I give a unit standby with deploy the garrison can the unit disembark from a LAAT with it?

Hello,

A unit may spend a standby token when an enemy unit performs a move, attack, or action in range and in LOS. As a unit transported by a vehicle with the Transport: Closed keyword cannot draw LOS from itself nor have LOS drawn to it, it will have no opportunity to spend a standby token.
