Reserving order cards and then playing that card

Some questions have come up about instances when you can reserve cards and what actions can be made during this process. The rule book tells us that after you place a card in reserve you are to immediately reveal the next card. In a nearby "Snip" it tells us if you have a card in reserve you can choose to activate the corresponding unit instead of revealing the top card of the order deck. If you put a card in reserve can you elect to play that card right after doing so. An instance where this might come up is:

If you have a card in reserve and draw a shatterpoint card can you spend 1 force to put it back in the deck, and if so, can you then elect to pull your card from reserve or must you draw one from the top of your order deck.

You cannot do this if there are still cards in the Order Deck.

Yes. You would need to draw the next card from the top of the Order Deck. You already decided to draw instead of playing from the Reserve.

Another question arises around the ability of Obi-Wan Knowledge and Defense:

Can you put this card in reserve with this ability, even if it's the last card on your deck? Just for the purpose of activating the ability and heal.
If so, do we lose our turn because there is no card to draw and therefore to play? Or can we activate the card that we have just put in reserve all the same?

Knowledge and Defense has no interaction here.

If you mean Patience, then yes, you can Reserve this card even if it is the last card in the Order Deck. You would then be forced to immediately play it as your deck is now empty.
