Suzume Kazo Posted June 13, 2023 Share Posted June 13, 2023 B1 Battle Droids have the following innate ability: I hate this job While a character in this Unit is contesting one or more Active objectives, it has Protection Consider the following Scenario: A B1 Battle Droid is contesting an objective before they get attacked. While resolving combat tree results the attacker shoves the Droid so that they are no longer contesting the objective. I assume that they do not get to reduce the incoming damage for having the protection keyword. As during the attack sequence the shoves happen in Step 8, and the damage is applied during Step 9, but by that point the Droid is no longer contesting and thus has lost the Protection keyword.
