Vozey0713 Posted June 15, 2023 Share Posted June 15, 2023 When checking for triggers that require line of sight and range to a unit with multiple minis, can range be drawn to a mini that is not in LoS if a different mini in the unit is in LoS but not in range? Specific scenario, a Phase I Cone Trooper unit trying to get a surge token from Anakin via Exemplar has one mini in range 2 of Anakin, but that mini is obscured from LoS by a building. A different mini is has unobstructed LoS to Anakin, but that mini is at range 3. None of the minis individually satisfies both requirements of being in range 2 and LoS. Can Exemplar still be used? A unit need not have LOS to the same mini it has in range for an effect.
