An AAT displaces a unit leader such that the leader cannot be placed at a speed 1 move from the AAT (e.g. the aat center of base is directly where the unit leader was). The displacement rule says to place as close as possible. Can that unit leader be placed into melee with the AAT, fulfilling the closest possible position, or does it need to be just outside of melee? Seth Posted July 7, 2023 Share Posted July 7, 2023 Hello, Dwit, A unit cannot be placed into base contact with an enemy unit when resolving displacement. The unit leader in question will be following all of the rules for displacement. If a unit must be placed "as close as possible," this will mean they are placed the required distance away to not be placed into base contact with an enemy miniature.
