BalconyBrawler Posted July 20, 2023 Share Posted July 20, 2023 Hello, 1) Does the dash granted from Dooku’s Leader of the Separatist Army ability trigger the Magnaguard’s protection Protocol ability? eg. Dooku activates and chooses himself and one Magnaguard character to dash. After Dooku completes his dash can the second Magnaguard activate protection Protocol and advance towards Dooku? 2) Would movement given from other characters activate protection Protocols? eg. Captain Rex activates and uses Get a Move on Soldier and chooses Anakin Skywalker to dash. Would a Magnaguard be able to use protection Protocol and advance towards Anakin? Thanks! No. Protection protocol triggers off the listed unit type making a move action and being given a Dash is only being given a type of movement, not a move action. Where the movement comes from doesn’t matter as long as it’s a move action, not just a type of movement. This example wouldn’t work for the above reason, but also would be impossible as General anakin skywalker is not a separatist alliance unit, which is a requirement for protection protocols.
