My Unit droids B1s are engaged (without any Wounded token) with an enemy, and they're contesting an objective. Aurra Sing decides to do a Combat Action and target that enemy for attack him. I use Expendable Distraction to add 3 extra attack dices, so my Unit Droids B1s suffers 2 damage, but they are contesting an objective so they have Protection. No. Protection applies when a character is defending and is about to receive damage from the Damage Pool. That is not happening here so Protection does nothing.
