Stacking Protection

If I was to use wrecker and omega would their 'muscle of the batch' to give protection to the republic clone commandos does this then stack with their protection from the innate ability to cancel two damage?

The rule book says a value stacks but there is no value next to the word protection.

Do we assume it cannot stack as there is no number?

Or

Do we assume that the absence of a number means it is value [1]?

The rulebook says effects do not stack unless they include a number in brackets following the name of the effect (page 15). 

Protection does not have a number in brackets following it so there is no stacking involved in it. The second instance of Protection will have no effect.
