FO Bomber System Boost + Drop

If an FO bomber does a system phase boost and lands on a mine, that mine kills the FO bomber, does the bomber get the opportunity to drop a device of their own.

 

Does the system phase use the queue?

 

My understanding is that the queue is not used in the system phase, in the same way that the queue is not used in combat for dice mods.

 

Both dice mods and system phase are 'during' rather than 'at the start' or 'after'.

No, after a ship is destroyed in a phase other than the Engagement Phase, it is removed from the game.
