Reggie Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 I understand that climbing is a speed-1 move that allows you to move over or onto terrain; there is no "make base contact and move up" anymore. Pursuant to the answers given about overhanging terrain in this question, which clarifies that it is possible for a unit to move onto obstacle terrain that is not "connected" to the ground at the climbing point: is it also the case that a small-base trooper unit can move from the interior of a building to its roof, or up through a piece of obstacle terrain, similar to the way Jump X ignores terrain? Imagine, for example, a landing platform that is height 1 with room for small-base troopers beneath it, and a squad of Stormtroopers on flat ground under the middle of the platform. Can the Stormtroopers' player place the speed 1 tool overlapping the platform and move the unit up onto the surface?
