matadatz Posted April 6, 2023 Share Posted April 6, 2023 Can a unit contributing dice to an attack pool via fire support be allowed to tap their long range config prior to resolving the attack? Eg. Dark troopers activate and are at range 3 of an enemy unit, a unit of death troopers (with a face up order token) at range 4 from the target is going to fire support. The death troopers have inherent range 3 and would be out of range, but they have their long range config upgrade equipped and unexhausted. Do they have to be the activated unit in order to proc the config? Or can they proc their config and contribute their attack pool at range 4 even if it is not their during activation?
